'Data Cascade' is my own term for the text animation in the top section of LCARS. New with LCARS 8 are 4 animation patterns for the Data Cascade. I have added a button to the Menu marked DATA CASCADE PATTERNS where you will find examples of each pattern along with instructions.
I have added a second info-graphic to the Menu which covers special instructions for adding sidebar buttons to the TNG Legacy theme. This is unique to the TNG Legacy theme only. (TNG Legacy is one of 2 new themes included in LCARS 8. More on the 2 new themes in my next post.)
